Lake Arenal is just west of the volcano and is home to world class wind surfing, boating, fishing and other fun siteseeing activities. The jeep boat jeep tour to Monteverde is a common option used by visitors not renting their own 4x4. La Fortuna is a clean fun little town with Internet access, food stores, sodas (local restaurants), banks, and is home to many tour companies.
