Costa Rica hotels are most expensive during tourist season between December and March of each year. During this time, the most popular hotels have few vacancies and rates are much higher than other times of the year.
For this reason, we provide a range for the rates of each hotel we review. In green season, April through November, published rates are lower than tourist season. It is possible to negotiate an even better than published rate during this time due to room availability.
