Playa Hermosa is a pretty little cove with calm water, tan colored sand, and a laid back vibe. This area is somewhat secluded compared to many beaches with comparable hotel choices. People staying here go to Playa Coco for nightlife.

Hermosa tends to attract repeat visitors. Snorkeling, sailing, and soaking are common water activities here. This a fun beach to walk and explore. It is perfect for families with small children.

The cove is surrounded by hills with small budget hotels and more expensive resorts built into the landscape. Many new hotels are currently being constructed and existing hotels are expanding their facilities. It is a very pretty area and is generally not extremely crowded.

Bring plenty of sunscreen and work on your tan! This area includes families and couples from around the world. Many new construction projects promise future homes high on the hill that will have gorgeous views.
