This Costa Rica hotel is perched on a hill above downtown Tamarindo surrounded by lush gardens, trees, a nice pool and jacuzzi with a large outdoor restaurant and bar.  This French owned and operated property includes all the comforts of home including beautiful furnishings, quiet air conditioners, cable television, telephones, lock box, hair dryers in bathrooms, comfortable sitting areas and bedding, and private balcony or terrace.The tropical gardens include winding stone pathways, beautiful pool with a small waterfall, jacuzzi, and private sitting areas. The small charming hotel is far enough from downtown Tamarindo to be quiet and includes beautiful views of the Pacific ocean. Jardin del Eden specializes in honeymoons and romantic small weddings. The hotel staff is quite accommodating and work to provide a memorable experience for their guests. High speed Internet access, fax, net2phone reduced cost international calling, and tour information are all available in the office.  The restaurant and bar is a warm relaxing place to enjoy nature, listen to music, and socialize. Drinks and food are quite good with service being a bit slow but acceptable. Iguana frequent the grounds and are always ready for a tidbit of fruit offered by guests.Tamarindo is not a secluded beach area. This beach is home to nightlife, commercialization, and plenty of tourists during season. Playa Langosta, Grande, and other areas nearby do provide more secluded places to relax and are easy to reach from Tamarindo lodging.
